Browser extension
The extension holds nothing.
This page is the privacy policy of the Stelix Vault extension for Chrome, Edge and Brave. It is short because there is little to say: the extension stores, sends and collects no data. It relays a question to the application installed on your workstation, which decides alone.
What it does
When you click its icon, the extension reads the address of the open tab, asks the Stelix Vault application for the logins saved for that exact site, and only receives a password at the moment you pick an entry. It fills it into the form, then forgets it.
What it does not do
No data is saved in the browser: no username, no password, no copy of the vault, no browsing history. No data is sent to a server: the extension has no network access, it talks to the application through the browser's native messaging, on your workstation. No analytics, no telemetry.
Permissions requested
"nativeMessaging" to talk to the application; "activeTab" to read the address of the current tab after your click, and that tab only; "scripting" to fill the form fields on that tab. No permanent access to websites, no remotely loaded code.
What the application sees
The address of the site you request a login for, and the choice you make. The first time a site is used, the application asks you to authorise it. These authorisations are reviewed and revoked in the application, never in the browser.
Publisher
The extension is published by STELIX DIGITAL SAS, publisher of Stelix Vault. The data of your Stelix Vault account is governed by our terms and our data processing agreement; the extension processes nothing more.
Installation
The extension installs from your browser's extension store, or from the application (Settings, Browser extension). It requires the Stelix Vault application for Windows.
